A few months ago, I ran into a friend and told him about all of the ways that I use AI to help me productize my day-to-day work.
He said, "This may be weird, but I kind of want to watch you use AI."
Me: "Um, what?"
Him: "You know, just like, sit behind you to see how you are using AI, what you ask, what you prompt, all of it."
Me: "You're right. That IS weird."
But, the more I thought about, the more I had to acknowledge: I'm weird. So here go.
Last night was the first official meeting for The Manhattan 75, the Upper West Side block association I revitalized this summer. As the new president, I'm committed to galvanizing community, giving more people a voice, and also using technology to offload a lot of the emotional load work of community organizing.
So today, rather than tell you how I used AI to help streamline the work from our first organizing meeting last night, I figured I'd just show you instead.
Something fun about this video: First drafts only. I did this in real time, for the first time. I think it's a little more legit about how I actually work, and also really shows how I was able to take meeting notes written on paper, convert them into digital form, assign owners, and write a follow up email.
In ten minutes.
